I am a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and partner in crime everyday of my life. Nowadays a lot of my time is spent being surrounded by candy. There are many brands, flavors and colors I prefer to use on bars and buffets at events. But my favorite one is my daughter. If I had to name ten people that have inspired me the most to keep trying, her name would be at the top of the list. In addition, to her the time I spend surrounded by my two sons, flowers, and jewels is definitely a dream come true. I truly believe the world would be a much nicer place if everyone had a granddaughter that shines like glitter as much as mine. Or daughter-in-law that makes everyday sweeter with her baking. I wish others spent more time celebrating people while using themed linen tablecloths daily. The only thing better would be if Santa really existed and showed up at all the annual holiday parties. Another person that inspired me many times in my days was the love of my life. My earliest goal of becoming an event planner was while planning our wedding. When I was told it was my day and I should have it my way was the moment I knew for sure. It was during that process I realized I had both a desire and very strong passion to help others bring their fairytale dreams to reality. Any mention of someone having an event and needing help over the years has caused a sparkle in my eye. For quite sometime my plans were placed on hold. But never once during those few years did I not spend a few days just wanting to shop to find the perfect piece of decor to match my next upcoming event. As for my work ethic, I would have to give credit to my parents. No one is going to give you anything if you want it, you better plan and work hard for it. From them I also received, as long as I can remember I couldn't stand to see a gift without the perfect matching bow. My sister and her sons would be those few gifts I've received without bows that I actually love. But that was another indication I was destined to be doing what I am now. Over the years I've received a lot of other precious gifts that have made my life worth celebratiing. There are way too many names to list, but I think they know who they are, Anyway at this point in life my first wish is the same as most others, to win the largest power ball. And to accomplish bigger dreams for you in our own venue. But when it comes to winning my best friends come to mind. I'm extremely fortunate to have a few. Nothing makes me happier than parties with any of them. One of them is usually right beside me making your events amazing. Her greatest trait is having no wrinkles showing anywhere. Another one can turn any party anywhere into something glamorous. I swear she can turn a warehouse into something seen in magazines. The other one has been there most of my life to pull me up, push me out or drag me off every time I've needed it. She is the one to tell me what I need to hear not what i want. Who doesn't want a shimmer wall in twenty different colors? Each of them in some way keep me motivated on most days. I honestly don't know what I would do without any of them. My second life long wish is to find out I am a heiress to the biggest floral and craft supply stores in the world. A person can always dream. And I Do Parties Too wants to make your dreams a reality.
Sweets & Treats Designer
I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother and aunt besides being a designer and maker of treats that will make your mouth water. If you need something a little sweet, I'm sure I have more than enough sugar to go around. Every cake, cookie and specisl treat you see on our site was graciously baked by me. I love to help make your visions come to life.
Event Coordinator
I am a partner, daughter, sister, mother and aunt in my spare time of coordinating parties. Most people think I'm too old to play with balloons until they see our garlands. Then they usually ask how did you do that. I think every event needs a theme. I absolutely love sequins and sheer backdrops but I spend more time steaming linens then I care to admit. Nothing irritates me more than seeing a chair band not on correctly or no napkins on a treat table. If I have to be awake early then your day should end with cake. My favorite part of this career is seeing the happiness on people's faces when they walk in a venue. My least favorite is seeing food sauce spilled on a white tablecloth. I believe color coordinating treat tables are a must.
